On the Trail  The corporate workshops that have been developed by “On the Trail” focus on Team Building and Leadership Development. Our facilitators work with corporate groups in an experiential setting where the participants are presented with a variety of challenges that are designed to be solved with the assistance of certified Search & Rescue dogs and handlers. The challenges take on the form of rescue/find scenarios as well as a range of problem solving tasks. The dynamics that appear through the work with the dogs have an extra quality to them, that is often lacking in other settings. Just the simple fact that participants have to cooperate with and rely on such an “unknown” entity as a working dog opens up possibilities of engagement and levels of participation that surprise everyone involved.
