Ceremony
The Team at the Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre would like to be the host for your upcoming wedding. What could be more perfect then the backdrop of the majestic mountains and Chief Hector Lake. The Lodge will handle all aspects of your set-up requirements for the ceremony.
Fee based on a per person basis: $2.75 Per Person
 

Reception
The Nakoda Lodge is proud to offer the main Dining Lodge that overlooks Chief Hector Lake. The Lodge allows seating for 200 guests, featuring a traditional stone, wood burning fireplace and also an enclosed patio area. Our Team will handle the set-up of banquet tables, usage of linen tablecloths and napkins.

Beverage Service
The Nakoda Lodge is situated on the Wesley First Nation - Stoney Tribe Reserve. This reserve is classified as a dry reserve. Cocktail service will be handled on a corkage basis of $5.50 per person and will include ice, assorted soft drinks, coffee, tea, non- alcoholic fruit punch, glassware and napkins. You will be required to provide a valid liquor license for the hours of service and must ensure that no hard liquor (Rye, Rum, Vodka, Scotch, etc.) is brought on-site. Only Beer, Wine and Coolers are allowed. No resale or cash bars are permitted. All liquor must be removed from the dining hall at the close of function.

  • Clients of the Nakoda Lodge will be required to use our bartender at a rate of $18.50 per hour (minimum of 3 hours). This will include one (1) hour pre-set time and one (1) hour post tear-down bar time.

  • Last call for Beverage Service will be noted as 12:00am with bar closure at 12:30am sharp.

  • Guest departure from the Dining Hall thereafter by 1:00am sharp.

  • Please note that any guests remaining in the Dining Hall area past 1:00am will result in an additional room rental charge

  • Cake Cutting Services Are Available @ $2.00 Per Person

Accommodation
The Nakoda Guest Lodge has fifty (50) well-appointed guest rooms offering breathtaking views of Chief Hector Lake and the Bow Valley countryside. A Standard rate is offered of $159.00 per bedroom, based on single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes.
Additional adults to a maximum occupancy of four (4) persons @ $25.00 per person.
Children under the age of twelve years stay complimentary to a maximum of four (4) persons per bedroom. All bedroom blocks established will be on a final release basis of thirty (30) days prior to your event date. All bedroom reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card upon booking. All bedroom cancellations must be made seventy-two (72) hours prior to check-in date and time.

Standard bedrooms offer two (2) queen beds per room, Lakeview or Forest view. Amenities include; some bedrooms with bow windows, large desk/chair, coffee, bottled water and soft seating.

King Jacuzzi Suite offers one (1) king bed, full floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplace, large Jacuzzi, tub, fridge, microwave, coffee, bottled water, wrap-around views of the lake, forest and mountains @ $250.00 per evening, based on single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes.

King Suite offers one (1) king bed, full floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplace, wet-bar, fridge, microwave, coffee, bottled water, wrap-around views of the lake, forest and mountains @ $199.00 per evening, based on single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes.

Deposit Policy:
Wedding events that entail a ceremony, reception and dance for one hundred (100) persons or less require a deposit of $1,000.00 upon booking. Events for groups of more than one hundred (100) persons requires a deposit of $1,500.00 upon booking. Deposits are non-refundable.

A guaranteed guest attendance must be made upon booking with a fluctuation of no more than a twenty (20) percent decline. Attendance with more than a twenty (20) percent decline will be subject to charges; determined by the General Manager.

General Catering & Conference Centre Information

  • All prices are subject to change and will be confirmed a minimum of three (3) months prior to the event. All prices are subject to a 15% gratuity charge and 5% GST.

  • To guarantee your menu selections, we ask you to advise the Lodge of your selection thirty (30) days prior to the function date. Limited dietary substitutions are available upon request. Please advise your Wedding Coordinator of any special dietary requests a minimum of thirty (30) business days in advance of your function.

  • The Wedding Coordinator must be notified of the guaranteed number of guests attending the function no later than 12:00pm, ten (10) business days prior to the event. Guarantees are not subject to reduction. If no guarantee is given, the group will be charged for the initial numbers noted on the banquet event order.

  • Upon request and space permitting, the Dining Lodge will set-up seating for five (5) percent above the guaranteed number only. On plated dinner services the client will be charged for the guaranteed number of meals or the actual numbers served, whichever is greater. Plated dinner services will only be accommodated to a maximum of one hundred (100) persons.

  • Should the number of guests attending the function differ greatly from the original number quoted, the Lodge reserves the right to provide an alternative function room best suited for the group size.

  • Major changes of the contracted function space set-up, with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice, will be subject to a charge equal to fifty (50) percent of the published daily room rental rate.

  • The Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre is the supplier of all food & beverage items (with the exception of specialty cakes).

  • No confetti or similar product is to be used on the Nakoda Lodge premises. A minimum clean-up charge of $500.00 will apply.

  • The Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre is not responsible for any damage or loss to any articles left in the Bedroom Lodge or Dining Lodge, prior to, during or following any event by the client or guest attending the function.

  • Audio/visual equipment may be arranged through the Wedding Coordinator at a published rental fee.

  • We require that the client review and sign a copy of the Banquet Event Order/submit the required deposit and promptly return the same to the Wedding Coordinator to finalize the function booking & details.

  • The Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre will not permit the affixing of any decoration, signs or banners to the walls, floors or ceilings unless prior approval is given. All decorations must meet Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre fire codes. All decorations and associated client items must be removed from the Dining Lodge at close of function - no exceptions. No candles with open flames may be used unless pre-approved by the Wedding Coordinator.
