1. All prices are subject to change and will be confirmed a minimum of three (3) months prior to the event. All prices are subject to a 15% Taxable Service Charge and 5% G.S.T.
2. To guarantee your menu selections, we ask you to advise the hotel of your selection thirty (30) days prior to the function date. Limited dietary substitutions are available upon request. Please advise your coordinator of any special dietary requests a minimum of seven (7) business days in advance of your function.
3. The Sales office must be notified of the guaranteed number of guests attending the function no later than seven (7) business days prior to the event. Guarantees are not subject to reduction. If no guarantee is given, the group will be charged for the initial numbers anticipated on the catering event order.
4. Upon request and space permitting, the Dining Lodge will set-up seating for five (5) percent above the guaranteed number only. On sit down functions the customer will be charged for guaranteed number of meals or the actual numbers served, whichever number is greater.
5. Should the number of guests attending the function differ greatly from the original number quoted, the hotel reserves the right to provide an alternative function room best suited for the group size.
6. Major changes of the contracted function space set-up, with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, will be subject to a charge equal to 50% of the published daily room rental rate.
7. Nakoda on the Lake is the supplier of all food & beverage items (with the exception of specialty cakes).
8. No confetti, flower petals  or similar product is to be used on the Hotel & Dining Lodge or on premises. A minimum clean-up charge of $500.00 will apply.
9. Nakoda on the Lake is not responsible for any damage or loss to any articles left on the Property, prior to, during or following any event by the client or guest attending the function.
10. Audio - visual equipment may be arranged through the Sales & Catering office at an agreed upon rental price.
11. We require that the client review and sign a copy of the Event Proposal and promptly return the same to the Sales & Catering office.
12. Nakoda on the Lake will not permit the affixing of any decorations, signs or banners to the walls, floors or ceilings unless prior approval is given. All decorations must meet Nakoda Lodge & Conference Centre fire codes. No candles with open flames may be used unless pre-approved.
13. All functions must pay a deposit of $1500.00 in order to secure your date. This amount will be deducted when the final invoice is finalized at the close of your function.  An additional deposit of 50% of estimated pre invoice is due 6 months prior to the event.
14. All events must be paid in full at time of arrival.  Any additional charges to be paid upon departure.

The Nakoda Guest Lodge has forty-five (45) well-appointed guest rooms offering views of Chief Hector Lake and the Bow Valley. Additional adults to a maximum occupancy of four (4) persons @ $25.00 per person.

Children under the age of twelve years stay complimentary to a maximum of four (4) persons per bedroom. All bedroom blocks established will be on a final release basis of thirty (30) days prior to your event date. All bedroom reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card upon booking. All bedroom cancellations must be made seventy-two (72) hours prior to check-in date and time.

Guest rooms offer two (2) queen beds, Lakeview or Forest view. Amenities include; down duvets, flat screen tv’s, coffee makers, hairdryers and telephones.

King Jacuzzi Suite offers one (1) king bed, full floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplace,sitting area, large Jacuzzi, tub, coffeemaker, wrap-around windows offerings views of Lake  Chief Hector and the Canadian Rockies.

King Suite offers one (1) king bed, full floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplace, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, wrap-around windows, sitting area offering views of Lake Chief Hector and the Canadian Rockies.

Deposit Policy:

Wedding events that entail a ceremony, reception and dance for one hundred (100) persons or less require a deposit of $1,000.00 upon booking. Events for groups of more than one hundred (100) persons requires a deposit of $1,500.00 upon booking. Deposits are non-refundable and required to confirm the space.

A guaranteed guest attendance must be made upon booking with a fluctuation of no more than a twenty (20) percent decline. Attendance with more than a twenty (20) percent decline will be subject to charges; determined by the General Manager.

The Nakoda on the Lake is locate don the Wesley First Nation - Stoney Nation Reserve. Our Conference Centre is a fully licensed facility and we offer both a "host bar" or a "cash bar" service 

Bar prices & Wine List are available upon request and please feel free to ask any questions you may have in regards to the Beverage Services. No outside food or beverage may be brought into the Conference Centre including home made wine.

• Last call for Beverage Service will be noted as 12:00am with bar closure at 12:30am sharp.
• Guest departure from the Dining Hall thereafter by 1:00am sharp.
• Please note that any guests remaining in the Dining Hall area past 1:00am will result in an additional room rental charge
• Cake Cutting Services Are Available @ $2.00 Per Person

Nakoda on the Lake is proud to offer the Dining Lodge and the Indoor patio,overlooking  Lake Chief Hector. The Dining Lodge allows seating for 200 guests and features a traditional stone, wood burning fireplace and an indoor patio area.

Let our  Catering Team take care of the details - we will set-up the lodge to your specifications with banquet tables and chairs and the  usage of linen tablecloths and napkins is included with the rental.

The Team at the Nakoda on the Lake would like to be the host for your upcoming wedding. What could be more perfect then the backdrop of the majestic mountains and Lake Chief Hector?  We will take care of all aspects of your set-up requirements for the ceremony.  Rental includes chairs, red carpet and arbor and signing table.

For outdoor Ceremony Nakoda has two lawns that are used - North and South- both facing Lake Chief Hector and the Canadian Rockies as the background.  Location of wedding depends upon landscaping rotation of the lawns.

Indoor ceremonies are the same price and include burgandy chairs, red carpet and the backdrop is the soaring stone fireplace- lit upon request.
